📋 Summary — What you need to know
- We collect no personally identifiable data.
- All your data (deadlines, preferences, password) is stored only on your device via Chrome local storage.
- Your Anthropic API key is stored locally — never transmitted to OrdiCloud.
- AI Advisor requests are sent directly to Anthropic — not through our servers.
- We share no data with third parties, except Anthropic when you voluntarily use the AI Advisor.
- No advertising, no tracking, no third-party cookies.
1 Data Collected
The OrdiCloud — Assistant PME Québec extension collects no personally identifiable data and transmits no information to OrdiCloud or any third-party servers, except as explicitly described in Section 3.
Data stored locally on your device
The following information is saved exclusively on your device via Chrome's chrome.storage.local API:

Data we do NOT collect
- Personal information (name, address, email, phone number)
- Financial or banking data
- Browsing data or web history
- Device identifiers or IP address
- Location data
- Advertising cookies or trackers
2 Use of Data
Locally stored data is used solely to operate the extension on your device:
- GST/QST Calculator: No data is saved. Calculations are performed locally in real time.
- Fiscal Calendar: Your deadlines and groups are saved locally so they appear in future sessions.
- Password Lock: The SHA-256 hash of your password is used only to verify access locally.
- Language Preference: Your FR/EN choice is remembered to display the interface in your selected language.
- AI Advisor: Your API key is used to authenticate your requests directly with Anthropic.
3 Data Sharing
Anthropic (AI Advisor — optional)
The extension offers an entirely optional AI Advisor module. If you choose to use it:
- You must provide your own Anthropic API key, obtained at console.anthropic.com
- Your text questions are sent directly to Anthropic's API using your personal key
- These exchanges are subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy
- OrdiCloud has no access to your questions or the generated responses
- The API key is stored only on your device — never transmitted to OrdiCloud
No other sharing
OrdiCloud does not share, sell, rent or transfer any data to advertisers, analytics platforms, governments (unless legally required), or any other third party not mentioned in this policy.
4 Storage and Security
Where your data is stored
All extension data is stored in chrome.storage.local — an isolated storage space on your device, managed by Chrome and accessible only by this extension.
Retention period
Data is retained as long as you keep it in the extension. It is automatically deleted if you uninstall the extension or clear Chrome's extension data.
Password security
If you enable password locking, your password is never stored in plain text. Only a SHA-256 cryptographic hash is kept locally. It is computationally infeasible to recover your password from this hash.
No OrdiCloud server
OrdiCloud has no user data storage server. No cloud sync, no remote backup, and no user account is required or created.

6 Your Rights (Law 25 & GDPR)
- Access: All your data is visible directly within the extension.
- Correction: Edit your data at any time through the extension's interface.
- Deletion: Uninstall the extension or clear Chrome data to remove everything.
- Portability: Since your data is local, you have full control over it.
7 Changes to This Policy
OrdiCloud reserves the right to modify this privacy policy. Any changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page and announced through an extension update on the Chrome Web Store.
